Mode Of Action –
WEAPON OF MASS DISRTUCTION
WEAPON has strong preventive and effective curative properties
against major pests. It has Repellent, Antifeedant, IGR, Anti-resistant,
Oviposition Deterrent and Ovicidal properties.
As Insecticide:
WEAPON is potent against sap feeders like Aphid, Jassids, Thrips,
White fly, BPH, leaf hoppers etc. WEAPON is absorbed immediately
into leaves (systemic nature) and gives effective control of pests
when they suck the sap. WEAPON affects the nerve system of insects
to provide control.
As Larvicide: WEAPON
is an effective anti-feedant and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR).
Upon ingestion or contact, it disrupts insect growth by blocking
hormone release. WEAPON also prevents reproduction and other physiological
functions, making pests invalid. The efficacy spectrum is being
expanded to all types of leaf eaters like early stages of loopers
and other early instars caterpillars.
As Acaricide: WEAPON
controls both the motile stages of mites. WEAPON acts primarily
by direct contact, residual contact and vapour action. WEAPON
interferes with the key enzyme systems, which causes interruption
of normal metabolism, respiration and electron transport functions
in the nervous system of mites. WEAPON kills the nymph as they
emerge from the eggs, which are laid before spray. Female mites
stop laying eggs immediately after coming in the contact with
WEAPON.
As Fungicide: WEAPON
acts as a broad spectrum systemic and contact fungicide having
preventive and curative properties. Thus, WEAPON is absorbed by
the plant and is tranlocated into system. It inhibits development
of fungal pathogens affecting vascular parts of the plants. WEAPON
is very effective in controlling number of fungal diseases that
infect crops such as cereals, fruits, vegetables, plantations,
ornamentals etc.
As Bactericide:
WEAPON is a broad-spectrum systemic antibacterial antibiotic.

effectively controls various bacterial diseases of different crop.
